The world needs this fight NOW.
Oscar De La Hoya has fought some of the greatest boxers of our generation, Julio Ceasar Chavez, Pernell Whitaker, Felix Trinidad, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, and Floyd Mayweather…. but none of these men flat out gave Oscar a country ass-kicking like Manny Pacquiao just did.
Before Floyd Mayweather retired one year ago, he was the unquestionable pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. Manny Pacquiao took over that title and proved emphatically that he’s the best man in boxing, regardless of weight class tonight. Upon Floyd’s exit, he declared that there were no more big names worthy of stepping into the ring with him, the risks outweighed the rewards and he wanted to move on.
But now… there’s someone out there who will provide a HUGE payday for Floyd, as well as huge accolades in terms of competition. Floyd has everything to gain by stepping in with Manny, and I’m praying this fight happens. read more
